Default I posted FAKE videos

  • I posted fake videos of "hacks" and "exploits." for lol and fun.
  • I admit they are fake in comments 2-5 times (Depending on length of comments on videos).
  • Anyone that ask if it will work will be told no plus I will explain the rule. HACKS AND EXPLOITS = BAN
  • I never had and never will ask for any account information.
  • I had one person PM me on how it works and even "lead" me their account so I can do it because they can't figure it out. I told him no, and explained the rule. It was better me than a jackass stealer.
  • For some odd reason, people, not me, are saying there real. Which only makes things worse.

My youtube account has the same name as my guru and IGN.

I'm getting worried that a-net might ban me. Even the videos are for lol fun.

Here are the videos as proof 123456

I've seen your videos, and I was amused. There is a rule in the EULA, RoC, or ToS that you agree not to use exploits or publish them in public, but since these are quite obviously tongue-in-cheek fakes, I don't think you need to worry about your account. As for the people who believe them, words fail. You could always ask support.

None of your videos ask for account info. I don't see how you could be held accountable for someone volunteering their account information.

edit: If other people are saying they are real, they are just trolling. Again, not your problem, so long as you state they are fake.

You could always put a disclaimer in the info box to eliminate liability. Of course, youtubers never read those. So you'll still get idiot PMs or whatnot.

Ya you should be fun. As MisterB said, you might just wanna put a disclaimer in the info box to try to avoid any stupid PMs and such.

xD

And yeah, just put the info in the box, you should be safe

Anyone that couldnt tell those are fake SHOULD have there account taken from them.
But I would think you were fine. Anyone from Anet will be able to see that its just a joke and youre not asking for account info.(Except maybe Izzy since we all know he doesnt have a brain but thats a different story)

You've been honest and admitted they are fakes, being honest is a nice thing. I'd remove the videos.

LOL, sux 2 B paranoid, hey?

And as I understand it, a-net seems pretty heavy handed as well as knee-jerk reactionary when it comes to bans.. Apparently the first offense is not a warning or a ban for a few hours or a day, but rather a 3 day or permanent ban.

I understand some of their reasons (kinda) for name bans, but the name should just be forced to change - and unless a repeat offender, there shouldn't be a ban but a simple warning outlining additional offenses result in ban.

I'm much less tolerant of the bot users, and thus have little mercy for those scumbags - but mouse macro perma-bans seems a bit over the top of judge/jury/executioner...
